My Kitchen Gadgets

Stand Mixer - I love my Kenwood Cream Patissier.

Ice Cream Maker - Used once before until I doscovered frozen yogurt! Think this will be my most used gadget now :-)

Smoothie Maker - Perfect for frozen margaritas!

Food Processor - Great for making fresh breadcrumbs, soups, meatballs...

Rice Cooker - Makes the perfect steamed rice. It was given to me by dad and is one of my favourite gadgets.

Steamer - Perfect for making dim sum and steaming veggies.

Pasta Press - Bought when I decided I would only make fresh pasta from now on. Kenny said it was a waste of money and that I'd use it once. I've used once... la di dahh

Bread Maker - This has been retired from my kitchen to be given to Ena :-)

Cookie Cutters - I like girly cookie cutters, I'd love a teapot, teacup, giant alphabet, giant numbers...

One day...

I've always wanted my own cupcakery.

I always thought I'd call it 'Fongs Fancies' but now I'm a Hackney I'm not sure what I would call it. It would have a pretty glass counter, with pastel drawings of cupcakes, swirls, flowers and pretty things filled with fresh baked cuppies, fruit pies, scones and treats.

It would have a small, cosy cafe area with white, wooden tables and chairs, an area with lots of floor cushions where you have to take your shoes off and put them in a shoe shelf like when you go bowling!

I'd also have a manned creche for the kids so mums could meet their friends, drop off their kids and grab a cuppa and a cake and have a natter.

I'd also have a mini library where people could come in and read one of our books. Then, the next time they came in, they could pick up the same book, grab a slice of pie and carry on reading.

I'd give them a little card to put in their purse with a space on the back to write down which book they are currently reading and what page number they're on.

Ahhhhh one day my friends... one day.
